February Half Term Workshops
Tuesday 14th Feb 2.30-4pm Sew a fabric heart: In this workshop children will use basic stitches to make and decorate a gorgeous fabric heart to give to a loved one or keep for themselves. We have lots of lovely fabric, buttons and ribbon to choose from. Feel the love! Suitable for ages 7+. £15
Wednesday 15th Feb 2.30-4pm Make a Mother's Day Card: Children will learn how to create a fabulous card using stamps, sequins, glitter.... perfect for Mother's Day. Older children can even try creating their own stamp with lino. Suitable for all ages. £10
Thursday 16th Feb 2.30-4pm Decopatch an Animal: Using our wide range of fantastic Decopatch papers children will decorate a papier mache animal, choosing between a giraffe, an elephant, a pengiun or a polar bear. Suitable for all ages. £15
Friday 17th Feb 2.30-4pm Applique a tea-towel: During this workshop children will learn to use basic stitches to applique a design of their choice onto a blank tea-towel, a perfect present for Mother's Day. Suitable for ages 7+. £15
DECOPATCH
Decopatch is the art of assembling, pasting & varnishing paper to decorate objects, giving a patchwork effect. We have lots of papers & objects for you to choose from & you can take your project away the same day. Pieces are individually priced and range from £2-£8. Paper is £1.30 per sheet. You can decopatch at any time, just pop in or phone up to book your space.
We now offer decopatch parties at £15 per child. Each child will have an animal to decorate with 3 sheets of paper each. Party sessions are for 2 hours giving you 1½ hours to decopatch & ½ hour for party food & cake which we are happy for you to bring by prior arrangement.
GLASS WORKSHOPS
We now run regular Glass Fusing and Stained Glass workshops. Come to a Glass Fusion workshop and We will teach you the basics of cutting glass, tack fusing, full fusing & slumping and you will make beautiful objects for your home. Come along to a Project Workshop where you will make pre-planned objects.For the more experienced or experiemental glass artist we offer Open Workshops where you can use our studio facilities to work on your own projects. Wednesday 8th February 7-9pm: Stained Glass Hearts, £30
This workshops is led my the fabulous glass artist Rebecca Harris Cowley of 'Bex by Design'. You will learn the basics of glass cutting, copper foiling & soldering to create a lovely stained glass heart to give to your loved one or to hang up in your home. All materials are included.
Wednesday 29th February 7-9pm: Open Workshop, £20 + materials
For the more experienced or experiemental crafter Open Workshops offer the chance to use our workshop space & equipment to work on a project of your own.
Wednesday 7th March 7-9pm: Fused Glass Suncatchers, £30
In this workshop you will learn how to cut & assemble coloured glass ready for fusing in the kiln. You will make a beautiful suncatcher for your house or garden. All materials are included.
Wednesday 28th March 7-9pm: Open Workshop, £20 + materials
For the more experienced or experiemental crafter Open Workshops offer the chance to use our workshop space & equipment to work on a project of your own.

KNITTING & CROCHET
Beginner or expert…everyone is welcome to come along to our open sessions EVERY TUESDAY. We have a morning session from 10.30 to 12.30 and an evening session from 4.30 to 7.00pm. We have a friendly group of people of all ages who help & support each other...so come along for a knit & a natter.
£3 per hour - tea & coffee included.

SEWING
Want to make your own cushions, bunting or fashion accessories? Come along to the workshop & learn basic stitches, how to use a sewing machine & create some easy projects to get you started. Suitable for children and adults.
TUESDAY 4.30-7.00 £7.50 per hour. Tea & coffee included.
Sewing Surgery EVERY TUESDAY 4.30-7.00 pm. Work on your sewing project in our inspirational studio! Not just for beginners, if you are an expert but want to share some of your experience with other crafters, come along & join us…
